DIGENTA

Gentamicin Sulfate Betametasone dipropione
Each gram cream contains:
Gentamicin sulfate equivalent to gentamicin 1 mg
Betamethasone dipropionate equivalent to Bethametasone 0,5mg

ACTIONS:

DIGENTA Cream is a combination of Gentamicin sulfate and Betamethasone dipropionate. Gentamicin is aboard-spectrum antibiotic. Which is effective for topical treatment in primary and secondary bacteria infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens, especially Staphyloccoci corticosteroids with antiinflammatory, antiallergic and antipruritic actions?

INDICATIONS:

Treatment of dermatoses, e.g.: atopic, dermatitis, contact dermatitis, statis dermatitis, ecfoliative dermatitis, neuro dermatitis, lichenplanus, eczema, intertrigo, psoriasis, anogenital senile pruritus.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

  • Patients hypersensitive to any components of the drug.
  • Dermal tuberculous.
  • Skin viral infections (e.g.: vaccinia, varicella.)

ADVERSE REACTIONS:
Burning, Itching, dryness, irritation, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acne, hypopigmentation, skin maceratio, secondary infection, skin atrophy, striae, miliaria.

PRECAUTIONS / WARNING:
  • Not recommended for ophthalmic use.
  • Do not use in pregnant women in large amounts or for prolonged periods.
  • Prolonged use of antibiotic preparation may result in overgrowth of non susceptible organism e.g. fungi.
  • If superinfection occurs, institute or sensitivity reactions develop.
  • Discontinue usage if irritation or sensitivity reactions develop. 

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATIONS:

A thin film should be applied to cover the affected area, 2-3 times daily.
